Road transport services
Our Road Transport services covering the whole of Europe are at your disposal, with daily departures for both import and export. The fleet we operate consists mainly of our own different sized and typed trailers, which correspond to individual demands.

Import sea transport services
We offer weekly groupage departures to Finland without physically re-handling the cargo from the following countries: India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong, China (Shanghai), Korea, Taiwan, Japan, USA, Canada. Full containers can be offered worldwide through our agency network.

Export sea transport services
Our experienced Export Department takes your goods worldwide through our agency network, from small shipments to large projects, also door-door service available. In addition special containers are available for out of gauge goods.

Tank container transport services
We offer our customers the use of our wide transport network and many different types of tank containers. These give us the possibility of transporting anything from non hazardous to classified dangerous goods, kept at the right temperature - warm or cold. Various special procedures such as re-pumping of goods from a tank container to a rail tank car, is for us, commonplace. Our main areas of operation are Europe, Russia and the Baltic countries but we also offer overseas services.

Airfreight and courier services
Our airfreight reaches Europe within one day and the United States and the Far East in as little as two days. Airfreight shipments can be combined to move part of the way by sea or road.

Special transportation services
We have different types of special trailers, for example hanging garment trailers for clothing, trailers for thermal, cold and frozen shipments and trailers for out of gauge shipments. There are also special trailers available which may be built to suit our customers' requirements.

Transit transport services
Our transit department exports shipments to Russia and the Baltic countries on a daily basis. We also offer transit warehousing in our bonded warehouse located in Helsinki where goods may be collected for consolidation and forwarding.

Warehousing and logistics services
The company offers Customs terminal services designed for international transportation. In addition we can offer warehousing services in our bonded warehouse in Sompasaari, Helsinki (2500 m²) and in the Port of Helsinki's long-time warehouse situated in Lansisatama, Helsinki.

Forwarding services
Varova takes care of your transportation, warehousing and all the other transactions involved, such as import and export clearance, Customs tariff classification and Intrastat. Our experts assist you to fullfil obligations under public law, to prepare export and import documents in each transport and distribution case. As a forwarder approved by Finnish Customs we are using EDI for customs clearances.

Domestic transportation and distribution
Local transportation carried out by Varova’s own delivery vans and trucks is fast and reliable. Our own personnel is responsible for the deliveries in the Metropolitan area and we have carefully chosen cooperation partners who take care of the deliveries to other parts of Finland. Our drivers are well known for their efficiency and friendly service.
