Services provided by Universal Shipping Agency cover the full range of tasks related to the performance of export-import contracts and can be divided into four groups:
*Carriage by sea:
Our company works with all of the shipping lines serving the ports of the Baltic Sea and Northern Europe. Long-standing connections allow us to handle cargoes not only in the St. Petersburg port but also in the large European ports.
* Port:
Working with terminals on exclusive terms, we offer our customers minimum rates for the handling of cargoes in the port, which include all the necessary services:
- acceptance of cargoes in the port in containers, open-top or canvass-topped trucks or railroad cars;
- repacking of cargoes from any mode of transport into shipping containers under the customs oversight, as well as unpacking;
- weighing of cargoes and recount of packages. Preparation of survey or acts;
- repacking of cargoes, palleting;
- storage of cargoes in the port in fully-equipped warehouses and container terminals;
- customs clearance of cargoes;
- in-port movement of cargoes;
- preparation and submission of in-port and transit customs documents;
- presentation of cargoes for customs control;
- loading/unloading onto/from ships/trucks/railroad flat-cars.
*Carriage by land:
Our transportation department provides road haulage services using the fleet of trucks of our subsidiary ZAO INKOT. Such tandem allows us to offer our customers minimum rates also for the ground transportation of cargoes. We carry standard, heavy-weight and dangerous cargoes and deliver goods to Russian importers under customs control in accordance with the DKD (Delivery Control Document) and TIR-Carnet procedures. We also use vehicles of the most reputable St. Petersburg road haulage companies which can guarantee on-time container delivery and cargo safety. When trucks are supplied to other Russian cities, we offer 48 hours of free waiting time at the customer's site.
* Other services:
We provide assistance in clearing cargoes through the customs (both import and export) and take care of cargo insurance against all kinds of risks (with domestic and foreign insurance companies) throughout the cargo's shipping route or on its individual sections, ensure the security and accompany the cargo in the territory of Russia and CIS countries, monitor the movement of the cargo, and much more…
