Overseas moving
Strathcona Moving can arrange for your shipments to most major ports in the world. Overseas shipments are based on the cubic dimensions of the shipment involved. We arrange for full origin services including packing, if required, pick up, forwarding to shipping lines and destination services as required.

U.S. shipments
Strathconca Moving & Storage will supply information and assistance in providing all required documentation for customs clearance into the U.S.

Custom storage
Strathcona has a number of storage options designed to suit your individual requirements. Short and long term storage is available. Your possessions are inventoried by the crew prior to loading and then being placed in clean, wooden storage pallets. Possessions are then stored in Government approved, pest controlled, sprinklered and climatically controlled warehouses with proper alarms and security devices.

Packing
The Strathcona Team of trained and experienced packing professionals have the proper materials and know-how to assure your possessions arrive safely at your new home. Your mattresses and box springs will be kept clean in sanitary bags made to fit various bed sizes from crib to king. All valuable, and delicate items can be fully protected in our specially designed triple walled cartons. White and light coloured upholstered furniture is covered with clear plastic and then wrapped carefully in clean, quilted moving blankets.
Pianos of varying sizes can be moved safely on the Strathcona Moving van. In some cases, such as with grand or baby grand pianos, pre-move servicing or disassembly by a certified piano technician may be required.
