I just had eight boxes to ship from New York to Frankfurt. Instead of the indicated 4 weeks it took 12 weeks. Delivery was not to the apartment as paid for, but the sidewalk. Communication generally only happened after several email requests and phone calls. And handling of the case afterwards was terrible. Instead of trying to address the problem, every participant in the chain pretended their part was okay.
I have moved many times before, but this was by far the worst performance. Given that no one from the companies is taking responsibility, this is just waiting to happen again. Don't let it be yours.
