The fleet
Our fleet of vehicles, all bearing the distinctive RCS blue and white livery. Range from 1 tonne to 44 tonnes and includes a variety of trailers. This means that we can provide for your exact transportation requirements.
Ray C. Smith also operates a specialist service for the movement of abnormal loads and machinery.

Delivery tracking
Our central control room is manned 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year by experienced planners who are responsible for ensuring that schedules are kept to and delivery times are met.
A fully computerized administration department maintains a regular contact with our customers to keep them constantly updated with a record of deliveries within any specified period.

Stock control
Efficient administration and accurate, computerized stock control systems mean that selective. order picking presents no problems for our storage staff.
It also means that products can be made readily available for collection or delivery any time of the day or night, 7 days a week.
Our staff are instructed to use the utmost discretion at all times and all consignments are handled in the strictest confidence.
From warehouse to its final destination - you can rely on RCS to respond with the minimum of delay. With full computer logging of every item, accurate stock levels and stock information is always readily available.

Re-packing and re-palletizing
Ray C Smith's storage services include the re-packing, re palletising, preparation and bar coding of items, ready for dispatch and distribution.
Our complimentary haulage division means that we can distribute your goods at your request with the minimum of notice required.

Bonded warehouse facility
We also offer a bonded warehouse facility, which fulfils all Customs requirements.
