R-A Specialists serves a large number of shippers and distributors by providing automatic inspection, marking, labeling, and documentation services for dangerous goods shipments prior to delivery to freight forwarders and airlines.

Airline endorsement and verification
Approval or endorsement as a carrier-nominated authority concerning compliance issues under IATA Rule 8.1.4.2. R-A Specialists has been providing verification services to the airline industry for 25 years.

Hazmat consulting
R-A Specialists has provided consulting services to a large variety of corporations since 1976. We have assisted a number of airlines in developing their own hazmat training and handling programs.
We have assisted cosmetics companies in developing packaging techniques and distribution systems.

Expert witness
Due to our 40+ years of experience in air transportation, all phases of hazardous materials compliance and handling, expertise in U.S. and international regulations, cargo and personal security issues, and the ability to communicate in understandable language, we can assist attorneys in compliance issues as well as provide expert testimony in legal matters.

European Union dangerous goods safety advisors
R-A Specialists was one of the first American corporations to qualify employees as dangerous goods safety advisors.
We will be establishing an office in Ireland in the near future and will be extending our relationships with other independent Safety Advisors throughout Europe in order to provide our clients with excellent support for their transportation and distribution systems.

Pharmaceutical industry
Refrigerated and dry ice packaging, toxic and infectious substances, and special packaging for non-hazardous medical shipments and vaccines have been routine services of R-A Specialists since 1976.

High technology companies
Although nearly 100% of our attention and efforts are directed at hazardous materials packing, from time to time we do accept the challenge to solve important packaging and service problems associated with time and temperature sensitive materials and devices critical to high technology production.
