Heavy Haulage
Port Services (Invergordon) Limited's heavy haulage division provides services for the movement of heavy or abnormal loads, not only in the Invergordon and local area but also throughout the United Kingdom.
The company currently have two escort vans available for wide / abnormal load movements throughout the United Kingdom.
We also use this service in-house to escort our own heavy haulage and crane hire fleet but are available to offer this service to other transport operators or customers.
We can also provide the service of police notification on behalf of clients and keep in contact with police forces during the escorted journey. Both vans have contact via a two way radio system and have mobile phones.

Agency Services
Port Services (Invergordon) Limited provides back-up, including:
- transportation of equipment and supplies by road, using the company’s own fleet of modern vehicles;
- chartering of vessels and work boats;
- customs clearance and material control;
- craneage / plant / container / labour hire;
- movement of personnel;
- warehousing / open storage yard. both with 24 hour security.
We also serve the operation of:
- general cargo vessels at Invergordon, Nigg, Inverness;
- tankers at Nigg Oil Terminal;
- survey and stand-by vessels;
- cruise liners;
- work barges;
- fishing vessels.

UK and international transport
Port Services (Invergordon) Limited have a modern fleet of 20 vehicles. We currently trunk to Aberdeen and Peterhead every day with trucks leaving a.m. and p.m. We also service throughout Scotland, England and Europe.
We can also serve the operation of:
- full loads / groupage;
- unaccompanied trailers;
- weekly departures to most European countries;
- daily overnight trunk service between Aberdeen, Peterhead and Invergordon;
- hotshot services;
- dangerous goods. our drivers are trained for ADR standard 1-7;
- radioactive transport licence;
- national distribution;
- waste carriers licence.
