Container storage and handling
Patrick Port Services provide a complete container park service at each major port operation, for storage for both empty, full and reefer containers. The parks are serviced by the latest range of container handling equipment. Each container park is fully computerised, facilitating absolute control of containers at all times.
In Melbourne, our Coode Road "Superpark" has a 11,000 teu capacity, operating 24 hours a day. Located within the wharf precinct, the park is designed for Super B and B Double access.
Packing and unpacking of containers
Patrick Port Services can pack LCL containers, unpack LCL/FCL and operate licensed bond stores and AQIS inspection and fumigation. Patrick Port Services has the required customs permits and quarantine licenses to allow it to pack and unpack containers and refrigerated containers with foodstuffs and general freight of any description.
Transportation
Transport services are provided between the container parks and terminal operators. Additional transport services to shippers' warehouses can be provided. Patrick Port Services operates a national modern fleet utilising state of the art in-vehicle GPS based communication and booking system.
Container repairs, refurbishment and preparation
Extensive facilities are available at each port location to undertake general and reefer container repair and refurbishment work. Washing, steam cleaning and holding "on power" are all services, which are available.
Warehousing and bonding
All port operations have licensed bond stores, where full containers, palletised and loose goods can be handled.
AQIS Services
Patrick Port Services offer the most comprehensive range of services for meeting AQIS requirements. Quarantine services include tailgate facilities, fumigation facilities, Class 1.1 Inspection facilities, steam cleaning, fresh produce inspection and high-risk washing. On site inspectors ensure all AQIS standards are achieved with minimum delays.
