The Company's main activity is ship agent and broker.
The cargo division is divided again in 3 main sections: liner, break bulk and forestry products & tankers.
The company handles more than 200 ships per year, and has become the leader particularly in Naples in the forestry products service, handling a quantity of over 300.000 tons per year.
The liner service offers a full service to container lines, including all of the logistic support supplied by other companies of the same group or by exclusive contractors.
The company's latest investment has been the computerization of all operational and financial services together with the employment of the very latest communication systems thereby enabling Klingenberg s.r.l. to offer clients maximum efficiency and reliability at minimum cost.

Freight forwarding
Klingenberg srl opened up its Freight Forwarding section in 1992 to take care of the re-forwarding and custom clearance of cargo in bulk and containers to final destinations. As a result the company is now able to offer to its clients an in-house full service from ship to factory and vice-versa.

Luggage handling
Merismar is a private stevedoring company operating in the port of Naples.
The Company was founded in 1950 and was taken over by the Klingenberg Group in 1973 in order to have the complete control of the whole discharging and loading cycle.
Merismar is the leader in Naples for handling break bulk cargo as it is specialized in forestry products, siderurgical and palletised cargo besides handling containers and other general cargo.
The company has the most modern equipment for handling all types of cargo including heavy pieces and very delicate materials such as new print and it's fleet of fork lifts, ranging from 2,5 tons to 30 tons and all types of accessories.
