Our Logistics Division was founded in 2003. We can now offer the following equipment and services:
- standard and specialty vans, air-ride, padded logistics vans and team service;
- flatbed, stepdeck, and double drop trailers. We specialize in oversize and permit shipments;
- hotshot expedited vans for when your shipments are time critical;
- canadian and mexican shipments. we offer direct service with no transference at the borders;
- worldwide international export service. we can move your full container and less than container load shipments virtually anywhere in the world.

Dump truck operations
A fleet of fifty tandem and tri-axle dump trucks allows Kerns Trucking, Inc. to enjoy ongoing relationships with localized builders, contractors and customers in Kings Mountain, NC and the surrounding area.

Nationwide dump trailer operations
A diversified fleet of forty 38 to 40 foot aluminum dump trailers serving the eastern United States plus a nationwide brokerage division with a strong network of carriers, allows Kerns Trucking, Inc. to provide scheduled, cost effective service for our customers. We are able to provide professional service for your hazardous material movements, scrap, glass and rubber recyclables, agricultural and dry bulk products, aggregates and most other dump trailer commodities. We also have steel trailers available for localized movements within the North and South Carolina steel markets.
