Cargo handling services are offered through the port's own stevedoring department.
The port specializes in bulk cargo handling, and is Finlands biggest port in handling of different type of raw minerals.

For handling of different type of materials the port has one crane (10 t), a mobile crane especially designed for handling of timber, logs and parcelled goods up to 5 tons and a conveyor belt system for loading of bulk materials.

The port's competitiveness is based on flexible handling and storing possibilities, long experience in handling of bulk materials and the port's geographical location together with good connections by sea and road.
