Chartering Depertment
The main commodities handled by our chartering department are stone chippings, timber and logs, cement, granite, steel products, light clinker, combine harvesters, bulk minerals, hazardous and project cargoes. The department represents several exclusive accounts and it also charters ships for long term periods - both ordinary dry cargo vessels and container feeders.
Our chartering department deals mainly with dry cargo; cargo sizes range from 1,000 tons to as much as 70,000 tons, although our main activity is in shipments of 3,000 tons to 20,000 tons.

Agency department
Our sister company - Holst Shipping Agency I/S - was established in 1990 with the purpose of handling ships agencies at the port of Randers. The agency handles on the average some 150 ships a year.
Holst Shipping Agency I/S is also very active in the chartering field, specialising in the stone chipping trade from Norway and Sweden, mainly to Denmark and German Northsea/German Baltic.
