Hello,
I would just like to give my review on HELP-U-MOVE. I just moved from Florida to Colorado, and did a lot of research and decided to go with Help-U-Move. So we went through with all the paperwork and they said the truck would be there Friday morning. The truck got to our place around 7pm instead, and the trucker forgot the loading bars which were supposed to come with. We were leaving on Sunday for the drive to Colorado and we wanted everything by Friday since they are not open on weekends. So we called many many times before getting the dispatcher and finally they said the bars are on their way, we waited and waited and no one ever showed. So after packing up everything all weekend my husband put up some chains to temperarily hold up the bulk head and the dispatcher said they would put the bars on when they picked it up on Monday, and we trusted them. So the truck arrived to Colorado on the following Friday as planned, and when we opened up the truck our stuff was everywhere. They NEVER put on the loading bars and our stuff was thrown around and SEVERLY DAMAGED. ALL of our nice wood furniture was chipped and looks awful and places were broken even though they were packed very tightly, but since the boxes were thrown around they were not secure. Since it was a Friday and they are not open all weekend we called on Monday (yesterday) to report everything that had happened, and since I read in some reviews that they were nice and would possibly give a refund for all that we had went through, we assumed thats how they would treat us. Nope, instead they blamed it on us and yelled at us and said that we have to fill out a claims for on the UPS website and they are not taking any responsibility at all. THIS WAS THE WORST MOVING COMPANY AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL TO ANYONE!!!!! THEY WERE IMPOSSIBLE TO GET A HOLD OF ONCE THE MOVE WAS TAKING PLACE AND THEY TREATED US TERRIBLY AND RUINED THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS WORTH OF OUR STUFF!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT USE HELP-U-MOVE!!!! I have pictures of the damaged stuff if anyone would like to see!!
