Moving people in Los Angeles still remains the largest part of our business. Gentle Giant is well known as a premier local mover. A local move is defined as any move under 100 miles from Los Angeles, yet still within the state of California (other states may vary).

Statewide moving
A California intrastate move is defined by any move over 100 miles from the city of origin, but still within the state. Loads are combined on a truck to ensure the lowest price possible, and are very rarely delivered on the same day as the pickup.

Interstate moving
Gentle Giant is proud to be an agent for Atlas Van lines. The Atlas network covers all 50 states, Canada, Mexico, and over 120 countries worldwide. This affiliation allows us to move our customers to anyplace in the United States as well as worldwide.

Storage services
The company moved into a new 62,000 sq. ft. office/storage facility in January of 2003. We are located in Hawthorne. The building is equipped with a state of the art video security system, and an industry standard sprinkler system. Our storage services include:

- special handling;
- private facility.
