1. Oversize and special equipment shipments:
Formosa is specializing in handling project cargoes that involves oversize dimensions and requires a special type of equipment – e.g. open tops, flat racks containers and even break bulk.
2. Door–to–door arrangement:
We'll arrange pick up of your goods from shipper's premises then trucked it to the rail
ramp or the harbor, for loading to the train or the ship.
We even give confirmation to our customers that the goods had been delivered to the terminal already in good order.
3. Packing and crating:
Our facility in Torrance will handle these types of services. We have a business tie with Tatsumi Intermodal ( U.S.A. ), INC. who will assist in doing these jobs.
4. Competitive ocean freight rates:
Again, we have an exclusive service contract rate with the ocean carriers that we offer to our customers. We can assure to give our clients the most competitive rates they are looking for including door–to–door quotations.
5. Warehousing and intermodal distribution:
We have a warehouse in Torrance, California USA, which is about 110,000 square feet and strategically located 10 miles to the port of Los Angeles. This warehouse is definitely perfect for our customers who are looking to store their cargoes and for intermodal deliveries.
