Today, although the Company’s core activities remain in shipping and transport, DP&L now owns and operates travel agencies, an industrial supplies company, a marquee hire company and a specialised recruitment service.

Shipping agency services
Although specialising in forest products, The Dundee, Perth and London Shipping Company Ltd have professionally qualified and experienced personnel to handle all types of vessels in the ports at Dundee, Rosyth, Perth and Montrose.
Apart from providing port agency services our strengths include:
- close working relationships with port authorities and stevedoring companies which ensure that all vessel movements and cargo operations are carried out to the highest standards;
- assisting our principals in negotiations with the port authorities, stevedores, supply service companies and hauliers to obtain competitive rates;
- playing an active role with international shipping bodies such as the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, BIMCO and other localised shipping associations;
