Hi All,

I though I would share my experience with DJ Hanleys in Wicklow. DO NOT USE DJ HANLEYS for anything!
I made the big mistake of shipping to the US with them last year. It took them 9 months to get my furniture to the US and when it arrived it was missing the base and mattress of out bed and ALL our furniture was smashed up. As a result we had to purchase all new furniture at our own costs. I contacted them for two weeks leaving messages, emails and txting the owners son and reception staff to no avail. They were very rude and kept giving me the long finger and taking messages. I did not get any response despite informing them that my wife was 6 months pregnant and we were in need of our bed at a minimum. I had to get the details of the US company they used and sort it out myself, which took another two weeks. They US company were far more professional and customer friendly as you would expect.

I have been trying to claim back the furniture from them now since April. It is the same deal, no reply to calls, emails or texts. I recently got in contact with them and now they are blaming the insurance company. They will not share the insurance companies details and as a result I don't believe they insured my furniture at all. I have threatened legal action and still nothing. I am now in the process of taking them to court and am flying back to Dublin to deal with this.

This company is very doggy and I would strongly recommend not using them for anything!
