Shipped my auto from NJ to Croatia. Someone drove the auto on toll roads in NJ and did not pay the tolls. I paid the bill. My auto arrived in Croatia badly scratched. I have been unable to contact anyone in the NY office for three weeks now.

It is now three months and no one from this company has contacted me regarding reimbursement for the damages to my vehicle. I filed a complaint with the BBB in Metro NY and they could not make contact with Demars. I have been contacted by three other persons whose stories mirror mine. The amount it will cost to repair my vehicle is more than what I paid to have it shipped. The only contact this company made in three months was not to discuss the damages to my vehicle but to inform me they provided me a fast and inexpensive service and that I am ungrateful. On the whole, the lack of professionalism and basic understanding of customer service is astounding. There are several people interested in a class action lawsuit. If others have similar stories or similar interests please contact me.

I shipped my car from Croatia to NY...they have made new holes on my bumpers to put fake plates and made 500 miles driving it with no insurance...

My friend used Demars company's services and all went so smoothly. He was extremely happy with service and price for shipping car to Croatia. I got his recommendation to use it when I decide to move to Europe. Company is well known also for getting moving services to many diplomats from Balkan area as per information provided by consulate office.

I don't think you would be saying it if you have payed twice for the same thing...in Croatia $2000.00 to send your car and 1800.00 in NY to pick it up?!
as I did or they would not give me my car...

It has been 18 months since I first attempted to contact this company regarding unauthorized toll charges while the vehicle was in their possession and damage to the vehicle when it arrived in Croatia. The owner, after refusing to answer phones or reply to emails for the first three months, now has taken the stance that I have yet to provide him with a valid claim. He has a copy of every photo I took of the damage, repair estimates, insurance paper work, copies of toll charges I paid, etc. and that is not enough. Worse yet, he refuses repeated requests for details on what he considers a valid claim. Anyone who posts positively about this company was either lucky or they are an employee.

WARNING TO ALL CROATIANS!!! Do not use this company to ship you car! They are totally incapable do do so, and are nothing short of criminals. I used them to send a brand new car to Croatia. When I went to pick it up in Rijeka, it had considerable damage to it. There were other people also picking up cars that had damage done by Demars. The interior was full of rubbish, and the seats were all dirty. All my personal possessions were stolen from the trunk. They even drove my car for almost nine hundred miles in New Jersey after I dropped it off to them. They refuse to take any responsibility for all the damage nor make full reimbursement. If you are foolish enough to use them, remove the registration sticker and give them only one plate.
