General haulage
Our general haulage fleet consists of both rigid and articulated vehicles.
Rigid vehicles range from 4 - 16 tonnes carrying capacities, and up to 7.5m flat deck space. Bolsters are also fitted to enable the carriage of steel overheads.
Articulated Vehicles are available with all types of flat bed and curtain sided trailers. Specialist trailers are also available for the carrying of long, high and wide abnormal loads.
Vehicles are available for hire by the day or part day and for one-off special loads.

Crane hire
Lorry-mounted cranes can carry up to 24 tonnes and lift up to 10 tonnes.
To speed up deliveries, rigid and articulated vehicles come equipped with forklift trucks of up to 2.4 tonnes lifting capacity.
These vehicles are available for one-off deliveries, short or long term hire, and can be supplied in the customer’s own livery.

Machinery removal
A major activity for David Bratt & Sons is the expert removal and relocation of manufacturing plant.
These operations involve the warehousing, cranage and haulage facilities, thereby offering customers a complete one-source service.

Distribution
A 13,000 square foot warehouse at Trafford Park, Manchester, equipped with 50-tonne overhead cranage is available for long or short term storage.
Steel, timber glass, machinery and palletised products are representative of the goods handled.
Distribution to all parts of the UK is undertaken by a fleet of rigid and articulated vehicles.
Reception, storage and distribution operations are carried out for large and small companies efficiently, promptly and economically.
