The main focus of our company is planning, implementing and controlling the transport of liquid foods (milk, oil, wine, etc.) and refrigerated goods of all kinds. For this purpose, Contrans owns its own fleet of over 200 insulated tank-containers, as well as special equipment with active cooling. Our range of services is supplemented by a network of co-operating partners, which can make further resources available immediately, should the need arise.

Supply chain management
Our services not only include the transport, but also the entire optimization of the logistical value chain, which includes:
- planning, supervising and coordinating the flow of information and materials;
- picking up the raw goods from its producer, transporting it by various means and, if necessary, short-term storage until the product is further processed as scheduled.

Shuttle-train
In addition to our fleet of containers, our own trains that transport food between Germany and Italy comprise another central component of our logistical infrastructure. These trains run between eastern and southern Germany several times per week, with connection points further south.
