Carlisle Carrier Corp. (CCC) is a regional dry van truckload carrier serving customers in the Northeast. Based in Mechanicsburg, PA, we operate from Virginia to Maine with 175 power units and 550 dry van trailers. Historically, 70% of our freight has been grocery or consumer products related … many consignees we deliver to are grocery warehouses. We also provide Direct Store Delivery (DSD) services for many of our shippers.

In addition, a sister company, Carlisle Logistics Services (CLS) provides a variety of supply chain and logistics services. These include asset-based, management, and consulting services which are not restricted to the Northeast. Asset-based services include dedicated fleets; jockey and shuttle service; warehousing; etc. Management services entail transportation and carrier management; freight audit and payment services; inventory management; and value-added services. Consulting experience has included supply chain analysis; technology evaluation and procurement; and process reengineering engagements; among others.

Carlisle Venture Group (CVG) has been established to evaluate and acquire other transportation companies that fit a particular paradigm. The first such purchase was a small truckload carrier based in the Allentown, PA area by the name of Cressman Transportation. Cressman will be operated independently from Carlisle Carrier as a division of (CVG).
