I am a very dissatisfied customer with Boxcart! I would never use them again period!
We used them to move and store our belongings while we moved to our in-laws to look for a new home. They tell you that you will have full access to your carts but that is not true. I called to retrieve some winter clothing and they made a big deal about it and how they had to locate the cart and were going to charge me $75 an hour to give me access to my personal items. This is on top of the high monthly storage fee they were already charging me. They also damaged the glass on my projection TV during the move and said that since there was no signs of physical damage on the outside that they were not liable for it. They made no attempts to resolve this issue.

My name is Amy Stowell , Vice President and Co-Owner of BoxCart, and I would like to address the above review by Mr. Nguyen. As a small, family-owned business, we take pride in our reputation, and it comes as a shock that this customer was dissatisfied with BoxCart’s services, because these issues were never communicated.

He was very complimentary of our services, giving our crew the highest possible rating on their performance evaluation. I personally call after each service to make sure the job went smoothly, and no issues were raised.

Regarding TV damage: I am unaware of any damage, and the customer did not submit a damage claim for his TV. Regardless of whether damage was visible or not, a claim form would have to be submitted, and the compensation would be based upon the elected insurance coverage chosen by the customer.

Regarding access fees: Those who load their own belongings have free access at our facility. For those who engage BoxCart’s loading services, BoxCart becomes liable for those goods; therefore, we inventory each item as it goes into the containers, noting the condition. The access fee simply covers our warehouseman’s time to modify the inventory detail as items are added to or taken out of storage to ensure the inventory records remain accurate.

I truly regret that this customer was unhappy with BoxCart’s services. Again, I take the reputation of my company very seriously, and every concern is valid and important. Quality personnel , consumer orientated . Hard working diligent packing crew. Sadly the end result was below par...too many items were discovered damaged /broken upon unpacking. Perhaps the nature of the business but not good if its your stuff.

I've used BoxCart in the past and had a terrific experience so I called them again. I am careful to pack my belongings as though they were going to be put in a container, loaded on a truck and stored in a warehouse and I've had no issues. Again, I called BoxCart who promptly responded with my quote and the container was delivered shortly thereafter relieving me from having to rent and pick up a truck, renting a storage facility and not only loading the truck but unloading it as well. Thanks, BoxCart and thanks to Amy who made sure the experience was everything it should have been.
