We are electronically linked to H.M. Customs and Excise, which enables us to expedite customs’ clearance on import consignments at our depots and at all other major UK ports and airports. We are also electronically linked to the Chamber of Commerce and all major airlines serving Manchester. All shipments are tracked and traced via our computer network system until they have been safely delivered to the customer’s door. With our large network of agents, we can arrange deliveries to almost any location.
Sea freight
Sea freight is a versatile service we offer to those wishing to transport larger consignments that are not time sensitive. It proves to be a more cost effective way of transporting non-urgent, bulk goods. Blacksmith offers an inimitable service, where containers can be loaded and stored at our warehousing facility at Manchester Airport for customers that have no warehousing facilities of their own. In addition, we can offer a packing service for standard consignments and also those of a hazardous nature. We import and export full and part container loads from all parts of the globe.
