Specialist transport services
The vast majority of the company drivers are trained in the transport of hazardous chemicals for both packages and tanks and vehicles are equipped with safety equipment enabling the company to transport virtually any type of hazardous product. In line with recent requirements, these loads are managed by Benton's own dangerous goods safety advisor who also deals with waste products transports under the company's Waste Carriers Licence.

Our depots
The main centre is Sibsey, near Boston, where there is 750,000 square feet of warehousing, office and maintenance facilities. In addition to Sibsey, there is a fully equipped office on Boston Docks and a centre equipped with forklift trucks and shunting vehicle for the safe efficient handling of customer product. Another centre is at the Exxtor Terminal at Immingham, which offers the same services that can be found at Sibsey and Boston.

Traffic administration services
The Company employs eight transport managers who are supported by the most up to date computer technology to ensure efficient vehicle routing. They can also access storage information instantly for warehouse requirements. Satellite tracking is also available on certain vehicles.
