AbleCargo is "Bonded" and "Licensed" by the US Federal Maritime Commission for Ocean Freight Shipments as an NVOCC.

Company offer 3 types of delivery service:
A. Delivery to your door, you "Live Load" whilst driver waits, 2 hours free driver waiting time, an hourly charge there after.

B. Delivery to your door, the container is parked for 24 or 48 hours "drop and pick".

C. Delivery to our facility, After goods are delivered to us we pack the container.

Never again, we paid for shipping and door to door delivery over 700 US$ for just one square meter (8 boxes)!!! It took 3 months - still waiting for the boxes. They promised us that it would be 8 weeks. Back in Germany they left us alone with customs and with logistics in Germany. Poor service.

Update: It's now 4(!) months since we dropped off our boxes with personal effects at AbleCargo. They, and their German partner Interglobal, still have not managed to deliver our effects, despite many requests via email and telephone. Although we have already been charged for shipment to our door, we now learned that they will not carry out the customs clearance as promised since it's an "unusual case", and asked us to appear at local customs in person. Interglobal today confirmed that "other customers are waiting just as long". At the same time Interglobal is advertising "moving personal effects" as a service right on their home page. I simply cannot fathom how these two companies are staying in business. Looks like we will have to involve our lawyer now, as sad as it is.

Update: Today Interglobal the German partner of AbleCargo told us that our boxes (freight) is lost! And AbleCargo who is our first contract partner does not seem to interfere. Unbelievable.
