They do not include custom charges at the port in their quotes. They are overpriced compared to other quotes. The shipment I sent was delayed by 10 days and they didn't even let me know. Once they have your money they will ignore you. DO NOT USE THEM

I've had to pay another $280 for 'costs' at the destination end. 1st Move made no mention of how high these might potentially be. The destination company said they do this all the time to customers. Buyer beware!

Moved half my house to Sydney with them. Best rate I could find,and I shopped around. Shipped it on time and had no problems with their service. Sydney customs said they had the best packing for any mover they get, and they should know.

Never use this company. Poor communication. Terrible delivery tiimes. We used this company as we thought they were the more professional movers around. Their quote was higher than others but as they had weekly shipments and only 2 weeks on water we went with them. Well it is 2 months later and still no furniture. They collected from the uk end of July and took 5 weeks to get it onto a ship! We are due to get our furniture this week sometime but they have still messed up as we paid extra to have our stuff off loaded in to our property but have been advised by the delivery co in the US that this isn't what they were told and they will be leaving it on the kerb side! They give no guidence on customs forms, we went online and found another shipping agent for this! Also high customs fee not included in their quotes. My advice? steer clear.

We collected my possessions from the depot in Bensenville IL. yesterday, and no doubt due to your packing expertise, we were delighted to find every single item not only intact, but looking as though it had never made such a long trip at all.

I had the same experience as Rosie. I was told they had weekly shipments and quick delivery. They moved our belongings out of our house 7 weeks ago and we still don't have it. Hidden charges, poor service, sloppy support. Stay away and use someone else would be my advice.
